 HUGS FROM HEAVEN

When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug send from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.

If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon on your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.

If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug send from Heaven
From someone special up above.

If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song
It's music send from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.

If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon on your face
It's a hug send from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.

So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are send from Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

To ALL in the stream Thank You for taking me in.
Love Madie!

 Something Funny

I woke up in the morning and gazed upon the wall,
The bedbugs and the roaches was playing a game of ball,
The score was 6 to 11 the roaches where ahead,
The bedbugs scored a home run and I fell out the bed.
Have a good day and love you all. Madie

When the Carnival came to town

When I was growing up in Germany, we had every year around late summer a Carnival coming to our town, the fliers for them where in every mailbox, I took ours upstairs to the 5th floor to show my Mom.
All I could say was "please can we goooo please." My Mom turned away from her sewing machine ( she was a seamstress a very good one and to earn extra money)with a sad look and said "Madie we can,t go I have no money." I was sad but not mad. I saw her sitting on the sewing machine from Sun up to Sun down every day. When bedtime came I always said my prayers before going to sleep. So I said "Dear Lord can you send money down so Mom and I can go to the Carnival please" Well I did not get to go the same year ,but the years after I got to go. (I was about 6 years old)The story has a good ending,my Mom made me a new Dress what lasted longer then the Carnival was in town. So I believe I came ahead.I loved my Mom. Children what can I say!!!Madie
